Welcome to Bruner Farms, nestled in the green rolling hills of Northeast Missouri, where we strive to maintain a low input, forage-based flock of hair sheep alongside several dedicated guard dogs to ensure their safety. Our goal is to constantly improve our sheep as well as offer up replacement females and breeding rams for people interested in starting, or growing their present flock.
High Quality, Low Input Forage-Based Hair Sheep
At Bruner Farms, our hair sheep flock primarily features Katahdin genetics, with influences from St. Croix, Dorper, and Romanov breeds. We practice rotational grazing to promote healthy pastures and maintain flock health, ensuring only the best ewes and rams are retained for breeding.
